Project ID: 774578
Start Date: 01/12/2017
Project Duration: 36 months

ENABLING is a research project funded by Horizon2020, EU’s Research and Innovation Programme, aiming to support the spreading of best practices and innovation in the provision (production, pre-processing) of biomass for the BBI (Bio-Based Industry). The project with duration of 36 months (01/12/2017 – 30/11/2020) and a total budget of €1.997.640 brings together leading European research/academic institutions, biomass analysis laboratories, non-profit organizations, farming and bioeconomy industrial associations and support entities to the farming or bio-based businesses.

ENABLING is based on the consortium’s vision that the biomass to BBPs value chains can enhance economic growth, a sound management of natural resources and positively contribute to job-creation in the regions and countries where they can be deployed.
The consortium, consisting of 16 partner organizations from 13 different countries, is well balanced in terms of comprehensive knowledge on the biomass sector, strong expertise in R&I, strategic role in knowledge transfer and consolidate experience in the implementation of European projects and international cooperation.

More information on ENABLING can be found on the Enabling Project website and Enabling social media (LinkedIn, Twitter).
